Borowski, Frank (6 JAN 1886 - 14 FEB 1959)

 

Frank Borowski, 72, passed away at his home in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) of a heart attack on Saturday, Feb. 14th, 1959.

 

He was born in Ostrowsko, Poland on Jan. 6, 1886 and came to the United States in 1905.  He made his home in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Chicago for many years, but retired several years ago and came to Thorp.

 

While here he spent much time at his trade of tailor.

 

Surviving him are two daughters, Sally, Mrs. Charles Griffin of Chicago, and Helen, Mrs. Chester Kasper of Cedarville, Mich.; two brothers, John Borowski of Poland and Stanley Borowski of Chicago; two sisters, Josephine, Mrs. Casey Grucelski of Thorp, and Mrs. Bernice Baron of Chicago.

 

Rev. Francis Piekarski conducted funeral services for the deceased at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in the city at ten o’clock Wednesday morning, Feb. 18th, and interment followed in the parish cemetery.  Pallbearers were Clarence Nowobielski, Leon Nowobielski, Peter Wnek, Leonard Mizerka, Anton Cieciora and Thomas Gunia.

 

Relatives from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Kasper of Cedarville, Mich., and Mrs. Bernice Baron of Chicago.
