East Lynn and Fremont met on level ground Monday.  While shaking hands Bill said: "Peace has been declared."  Fremont said: "Save the pieces."  It was also agreed and understood that we be good for some time to come.

We disposed of our loose change at Reichert’s sale Monday.  A number of others did likewise.

D. Willholm report having a cow which gave birth to 3 calves Sunday.

A program has been arranged for school district No. 3 for St. Patrick’s Day in the evening.  We will give particulars later.

August Lindow has bone into goose raising quite extensively.  His flock consists of three ganders at present, which August claims make a hell of a racket.  What are you going to do about it?
