Dostler, Martha C. (11 NOV 1892 - 21 APR 1959)

 

Mrs. George Dostler, age 66, a resident of the Town of Aurora, route 1, Gilman, died at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Tuesday, April 21, 1959.

 

She was born Martha C. Qualley on Nov. 11, 1892 in Browerville, Minn., the daughter of Susan and Edmund Qualley.  She came to Wisconsin with her mother in 1909, and they lived in Eidsvold (Clark Co., Wis.) and Yellow River communities, where she was a dress maker.  Her marriage to George Dostler took place Dec. 12, 1912 at her home.

 

Mrs. Dostler was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Yellow River, and a past president of the Ladies Aid.

 

Surviving are her husband; one brother, Elmer Qualley, Devils Lake, N.D., and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Tokyo, N.D.

 

Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m., in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Yellow River, with Rev. David Campbell officiating.  Interment was in the Yellow River Cemetery.
