Granton (1 August 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Don Knieret and family are moving this week to Ft. Atkinson, where Mr. Knieret will teach this fall.  He served as basketball coach in the Granton School.

 

Paul Fader suffered a heart attack Saturday and is being cared for in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

 

Miss Nancy Hoeft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoeft, was a member of the confirmation class Sunday in the Christ Lutheran Church.

 

Miss Joyce Garbisch of St. Paul was a weekend guest at the Arnold Garbisch home.

 

Lloyd and Bob Spry attended Farm Progress Days in Viroqua Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Workman and children of St. Paul, Minn., were guests several days last week of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Spry, of Granton, Mrs. and Mrs. Workman and family of St. Paul, and the Col. Raimon  Lehmann family drove Sunday to Lake Geneva, where they were joined by members of the Spry family from Michigan and Illinois, and the Gehrman Radke family of Mineral Point, for a family gathering.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otis tucker of Mt. Clemens, Mich., visited Thursday at the Lloyd Spry home.
