W.E. Hall is on the sick list.

John Verkuilen moved into the Claus Banderob farm last week.

Henry Vanderhoof made a business trip to Thorp one day last week.

School began in district No. 7 last Monday with Alice Baker as teacher.

Mrs. Dave Kienholz is paying relatives and friends in Minnesota a visit.

 Wm. Renke, who rented his farm to W.E. Hall, left for unknown parts last Thursday.

A Mr. Olson of Stanley has purchased the farm recently owned by John Vetkuilen and is moving into the same.

Hattie Huls, who as been visiting friends and relatives at this place for the past week, returned to Calumet county yesterday.

Blaisdell-Baumgarten of this place and Miss Grace Buerner of Waupaca county were married Monday at the Catholic church in Stanley.

The tramp whom Paul Haase took pity on and hired relieved Paul of a ten dollar bill one night last week and left for Stanley. He was caught the next morning and given a free ride to Chippewa Falls.
