Norysiewicz, Jane (1 AUG 1959)

Miss Jane Norysiewicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Norysiewicz, and Robert Olejniczak, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Koney, were united in marriage on Sat., Aug. 1, 1959, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church.  The Rev Disher performed the double ring ceremony at the 10 o’clock pass.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.  For her wedding she chose a floor length gown styled of Calais type lace and sheer tulle over contessa taffeta.  The Peter Pan collar set into an illusion yoke with braided scroll design detailed the figure molding bodice.  Wide tiers of tulle with a scallop ruffle of lace between each tiers enhanced the full flowing skirt.  Lace and tulle pillbox with sequin trim held the lace edged fingertip silk illusion veil.  She carried an orchid surrounded by white roses.

Miss Betty Butek was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Pat McQuillan and Gail Papierniak.  Junior flower girl was Jacqueline Rogalski.  They wore shrimp colored silk organza over taffeta ballerina length gowns.  Round portrait necklines and short sleeves detailed the empire bodice with a self-bow in front.  They wore white daisy cloche hats with white shoes and white gloves.  Each carried horseshoe bouquets of white carnations with shrimp centers.

Attending the groom was Larry Olejniczak, Eugene Norysiewicz and Dane Luzinski.  They wore white jackets with midnight blue trousers.

As the bride and groom were leaving the altar, Barbie Rogalski entered as a surprise flower girl.  She carried a white heart shaped pillow with a white heart shaped pillow with a white pearl rosary.

A breakfast and reception followed the ceremony at St. Hedwig’s Hall.

The bride’s mother attended the wedding in a light blue dress with white accessories.  The groom’s mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories.  Their corsages were of pink roses.

The bride and groom both attended Thorp High School.

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Price and Loretta of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wolowik, Miss Violet Witkus, Mrs. Rudy Lendosky, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hazuga, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johnson, all of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Simko of Chetek, Lil Johnson of Superior, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wolowik of Dancy, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Figura of Colfax.
