Wilhelm, Anna #2 (9 SEP 1875 - 16 OCT 1959)

 

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church here at 9:00 o’clock Monday morning, Oct. 18, 1959, for Mrs. Anna Mary Wilhelm, 84, who passed away of old age complications at the Stanley Victory Hospital on Friday, Oct. 16, 1959.  Rev. Father Herbert Hoffman officiated at the Requiem Mass.

 

Anna Mary Fellenz was born in St. Michaels, Wis. on Sept. 9, 1875.  She spent her girlhood there and attended the local schools.  On Oct. 30, 1900 she was united in marriage to W.A. Wilhelm and went to Cadott where they operated a farm in the Town of Seigel.  She moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with her husband and family fifty-two years ago and they lived on the farm just one mile west of Thorp, which is now operated by their son Eugene.  They retired from farming in 193? and resided near the west Thorp city limits.

 

She was a member of St. Bernard’s Church and the Christian Mother’s Society here.

 

Surviving are her husband, 4 sons, Raymond of Los Angeles, Calif., Emmett of Tucson, Ariz., Leonard of Milwaukee and Eugene of Thorp; two daughters, Dolores, Mrs. Alfred Valente and Mrs. Rachel Rosik of Milwaukee; one brother, Hubert Fellenz of Barton, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Emma Wiskershen of West Bend, Wis., twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

 

She was laid to rest in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Louis Badzinski, Alfred Baldeschwiler, Pat Soderberg, Ray Baldeschwiler, Walter Verkuilen and Frank Benzschawel.

 

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral services were from Cadott, Stanley, Milwaukee, Green Bay, West Bend, Bonduel, Wilson, Los Angeles, Calif., and Tucson, Ariz.
