Bernie, Jeanne F. (28 NOV 1959)

 

Miss Jeanne F. Bernier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jaime Bernier, Rutland, Vermont, became the bride of Edward W. Harycki, Hyattsville, Maryland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Harycki, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

Rev. Father Disher officiated at the 9:00 a.m. high mass on Saturday, Nov. 28, 1959, at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp.

 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin floor length gown featuring a train trimmed with pearl sequins.  Her fingertip veil was held by a satin headpiece.  Her colonial bouquet was of white carnations.

 

Miss JoAnne Harycki, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, wearing a three-quarter length green nylon gown styled with a white satin jacket.  Miss JoAnn Piwoni, cousin of the groom, wore a rose colored gown styled identical tot eh maid of honor.  Both wore shoes to match their gowns and carried white and rose carnations.

 

Linda Danielewicz, Thorp, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

 

Sylvester Harycki was his brother’s best man.  Ushers were Peter Larson, Thorp, friend of the groom, and Jaime Bernier, R., Rutland, Vermont, brother of the bride.

 

The P.N.A. was trimmed in green, rose and white, where the breakfast and a supper for 2000 guests was held, followed by a dance in the evening.

 

The bride’s mother wore a blue suit with a corsage of white carnations, and the groom’s mother wore a blue dress and also had a corsage of white carnations.

 

After a wedding trip to Ontario, Canada and the New England States, the couple will live at Hyattsville, Maryland,  where the groom is employed the Department of Defense.
