Winterbotham, Judith Mae (1 JUL 1961)

Miss Judith Mae Winterbotham and Robert Charles Miller, 1706 Madison St. exchanged marriage vows Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Grace Episcopal Church.  Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick S. Winterbotham, 24 S. Owen Drive, Madison, and Mrs. and Mrs. Armand C. Miller, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

The white Italian silk bridal gown had appliques of Alencon lace at the V-neckline and as trim on the bouffant skirt, which ended in a chapel train.  A lace mantilla over a circular veil fell from a pearl triangular headdress.  The bride carried a crescent of white glamellias and sweetheart roses.

Miss Lynn Nickles was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Brooks Bek-Gran, McFarland, and Mrs. Fred Winterbotham, Menomonee Falls, the bride’s sister-in-law.  They wore white Irish linen sheaths with blue embroidered medallion trim, sleeveless jackets and high front necklines and inverted V’s in the back.  They wore blue medallion headdresses and carried white glamellias centered with blue delphinium.

JoAnne Winterbotham, the bride’s niece, was flower girl.

Richard Miller, Withee, was his brother’s best man, and the ushers were Leon Bruchert, Owen, John Temple, Madison, Thomas Pierce, Madison, and Frederick Winterbotham.

A reception as held at the Cuba Club.  Mrs. H. Louis Greene, the bride’s aunt, was hostess at the rehearsal dinner at the Maple Bluff Country Club.

The newlyweds will live at 509 N. Lake St.  The bride, who attended Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin, is a member of Delta Gamma.  She is employed at the Madison Gas and Electric Co.  The bridegroom, a 1961 graduate of the University of Wisconsin and member of Phi Chi fraternity, will begin his second year in the medical school in September.
