Will, Charlotte (12 AUG 1961)

Saturday, Aug. 12, 1961, at 9:30 o’clock in the morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen services were conducted by the Rev. H.L. Crubel which united in marriage Miss Charlotte Dee Will, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Foster H.C. Will, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and John Allen Rineck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Rineck Sr. of Chippewa Falls.

The children’s choir of the church sang the Mass and Sister M. Claudell presided at the organ.  Lavender and white gladioli graced the church altar as the bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Miss Will’s floor length gown was fashioned of nylon organza over satin with a fitted bodice, Sabrina neckline edged in Venice lace and short puffed sleeves.  The full skirt had accents of the Venice lace in front and back.  Her imported silk illusion veil was fastened to a crown headpiece and her bridal bouquet was a cascade arrangement of white carnations and stephanotis centered with a lavender orchid.

Miss Lana Will, Owen, was maid of honor to the bride, with Mrs. Robert Furst of Chippewa Falls and Miss Ginger Will, Owen, bridesmaids.  They carried colonial bouquets of yellow and orchid carnations with their dresses in ballerina length with shirred bodices, draped pleated collars and full shirred circular skirts.  Pearl trimmed crown headpieces held their circular veils.

Karn and Kathy Rineck of Milwaukee were flower girls.

Joe Ciszewski, Withee, attended the groom as best man, with groomsmen James Riley of Owen and Russell Boie, Thorp.  Ushers were Bill Meyer, Marshfield, and Sam Rineck Jr., River Falls.

For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Will wore a shell pink silk dress with pink accessories and a lavender corsage.

The groom’s mother wore beige lace over beige satin and green accessories.  She also wore  a lavender corsage.

An open house reception and invited dance were held at the American Legion Hall at Owen.  The breakfast served the bridal party and relatives was held following the church services.  On Sunday, Aug. 20, a reception for friends and relatives was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

The bride, who is employed at the Will Implement and Gas Co., where her husband also works, is a graduate of the Owen-Withee High School.  He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School.  They are now residing in owen after returning from a northern Wisconsin honeymoon.
