Friends attended a surprise birthday party in honor of Mrs. David Kellin Saturday afternoon at her home. The honoree was presented with a gift. After a special afternoon, a lunch was served.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Gotz of Pittsville and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson spent Sunday with their mother, Mrs. Christ Keiner.

 

Sunday visitors at the Wilbur Stewart home were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beck and son, Gary, of Stanley; Mrs. Veda Mertens and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hawks of Withee; and Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Wallick and daughter, Margaret.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Vernard Swieso and family of Burlington spent Saturday afternoon with his mother, Mrs. Walter Swieso, and were overnight guests of his sister, Mrs. Leonard Thiede, at Granton. They also visited relatives in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux and children, Monica, Edward, Allen and Mark, were Sunday guests at the Mike Kowieski home in Auburndale.

 

George Hoehne was dismissed Thursday from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Marks of Marshfield were Monday visitors at the home of Mrs. Alma Busch.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kopfhamer of Medford visited Sunday at the home of her sister Mrs. William Kuchenbecker.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Metcalf, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath, Mrs. Marie Meinhardt and Mrs. William Steiger were Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mrs. Caroline Horn.

 

Mrs. Elmer Kuester was dismissed Friday from a Marshfield hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Kellin of Stevens Point visited last weekend at the home of their son, the Rev. David Kellin.

 

Mrs. Alma Busch and William Goeke visited in Withee at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arles Offord Sunday.

 

The American Legion Auxiliary will meet Monday evening, March 16, in the Legion Hall.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Myron Kenyon, Mrs. Christ Keiner, Mrs. Lawrence Kitzhaber and Mrs. Paul Kippenhan.
