Quade, Anna (25 July 1891 - 4 March 1964)

 

Mrs. Anna Quade, 72, of Beloit, formerly of the Town of Levis, died March 4, in that city.  Funeral services were held there Saturday, and services were held Monday from the Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville.  The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated.  Burial was made in the Dells Dam Cemetery.

 

The former Anna Zick was born July 25, 1891, in Clinton.  On November 27, 1912, she was married to William Quade, who died in 1956.  They farmed near Janesville until 1945, when they moved to Clark County and farmed until 1956.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Victor (LaVerne) St. John of Neillsville; two sons, Raymond Quade of Sharon, and Fred Quade of Beloit; and by four sisters, Mrs. Lidia Gouchevour and Mrs. Ella Gilbert of Beloit, Mrs. John Wilke of Footville, and Mrs. Adelia Schenuke of Delavan; and by two brothers, William and Eddie Zick of Beloit.  Twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

 

Pallbearers were: Henry Dahnert, Byno Lloyd, Harry Carstensen, Elmer Kapfer, Glenn Bush and Richard Qualley.

 

Out of town people attending the service were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Quade, Mrs. Ella Gilbert, Mrs. Lida Goucheon and Richard Alf of Beloit; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Quade of Sharon; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer and Casper Dieter of Granton.
