Mrs. Rice Davis has a prize cow according to the following plain figures.  For the three and a half months from April 15 to July 31st, she sold the Granton creamery 4324 pounds of milk and received for said mil the sum of 49 dollars and 39 cents, besides during this time she furnished two families with milk sufficient for their need.

The Clark County fair this year was a splendid success in every respect.  The free attractions were very good and the agricultural and livestock exhibits were exceptionally large and interesting.  The weather man did his very best and with the exception of the first day when a heavy shower gave the ground a well needed soaking, every day was a perfect one, and the attendance on the third day was a record breaker.  The Ford automobile went to Frank Greeler of the town of York, who held the lucky number.
