Doris H. Mattes (nee Weinberger) of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Thorp, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the age of 91 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Mattes; loving mother of David (Bonnie) Mattes; cherished grandmother of Dan (Kristin) Mattes; treasured great-grandmother of Amanda, Jessica, Sarah and Luke; dear aunt of Scott and Rick Jalling. She is further survived by other family members and friends.
Private services were held. Interment was at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI. If desired, memorials in Doris’ name may be made to Wheaton Franciscan Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin Hospitals, 3237 S. 16th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
