Cantrell, Norma (21 February 1928 - 30 October 1964)

 

Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Randal (Jake J) Cantrell, 36, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, who died Friday in Neillsville.  The Rev. David Kellin of the Christie Methodist Church officiated at services from Georgas Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Cantrell, the former Norma Seefeldt, was born February 21, 1928, in Alden, Ill., daughter of Mrs. Edna Seefeldt of Rt. 3, Neillsville, and the late Charles H. Seefeldt.  She attended schools in Alden and was a graduate of the Sherman Hospital School of Nursing in Elgin, Ill, as a registered nurse in 1949.

 

She was married to Randal (Jake) Cantrell on November 9, 1949, in Eldorado, Ill. They lived in Zion, Ill, and Tomah, where she worked in a hospital.  After coming to Neillsville she was employed in Memorial Hospital.

 

Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Carmi Chapter, No. 60, of the Order of Eastern Star of Neillsville.

 

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Charles Scott and Randal William, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Edna Seefeldt of Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Betty) Montgomery of Granton; and two brothers, Jack R. Seefeldt of Granton and Charles J. Seefeldt of New Lisbon.

 

Pallbearers were: William H. Yenni, Clarence Krause, Marion R. Spencer, Henry E. Rahn, Mike Krultz, Jr., and John Bergemann.  Hymnal music was played by Mrs. T. N. Thompson.

Benrud of Juneau; Mrs. Alma Cantrell of McLeansboro, Ill.; Mrs. Robert Hutchinson, Jean Kasta and Mrs. Ed Deneen, of Harvard, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wabscholl of Reedsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Voltz of Walworth; Lovella Harrison of Woodstock, Ill.; Catherine Fraase of Hammond, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Richter of Crandon; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seefeldt and Mrs. Roberta Rieshol of Kenosha; Mrs. John Bolton of Camp Douglas; Mrs. Eileen Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. John Griffith of Tomah; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Davis and Mrs. Mae Allen of Eldorado, Ill.

 

Carmi Chapter No. 60, Order of Eastern Star, held services Sunday evening at the Georgas Funeral Home.  Nurses and employees of Memorial Hospital and Memorial Home attended funeral services Monday in a body.
