Bogue, Olive (17 JAN 1886 - 25 JUN 1963)

 

Mrs. Olive Bogue, 77, died at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 1963.  Mrs. Bogue, who died after a series of strokes during the last year, was a resident of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

The funeral took place at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Missionary Alliance Church in Owen, with the Rev. Ralph Stone officiating.  Burial followed at the Riverside Cemetery.

 

The former Olive Hilden was born on Jan. 17, 1886, in Michigan, and married Jay Bogue in Ludington, Mich. on Feb. 2, 1903.  The couple moved to Wisconsin in 1907 and lived in Owen for five years before moving to Withee, where Mrs. Bogue lived until last year when she moved to the nursing home.  Mr. Bogue died in 1961.

 

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George (Leota) Gerber, Watseka, Ill.; Mrs. Harold (Edna) Koplitz, Curtiss; and Mrs. Robert (Cecilia) Hodd, one son, Harold Bogue, Waukegan, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Sylvia) Ness, Eagle River, Mich.; Mrs. Edith Dance, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and one brother, Wilbur Hilden, Custer, Mich.
