Jo Seefeld, 82, Riplinger, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 23, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer. Rev. Michael Herdt officiated.

 

J Conraad was born on Feb. 26, 1929, in Kimberly, the daughter of Lambert and Christine Conraad. She married Dale Seefeld on Sept. 11, 1948. She received a certified nursing assistant’s certificate and worked at Colonial Nursing Home in Colby for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and scratch-offs. She was a loving mother to many people.

 

Survivors include her husband, Dale Seefeld, Riplinger; eight children, Doud (Barb) Seefeld, Spencer; Barb (Darrel) Elpert-Timm, Unity, Bruce Seefeld, Spencer, Deb (Michael) Coverston, Hazelhurst, Barry Seefeld, Bensenville, Ill., Ken seefeld, Unity, Brad "Yogi" Seefeld, Unity, and Rhonda Albrecht, Withee; a daughter-in-law, Kris Seefeld, Unity; 26 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; six brothers and sisters, Wilma Weyeberg, Marty Conraad, Roy (Theresa) Vanden Heavel, Chris Conraad, Geri Fakankrug, and Alice Subert; and her good friend, Esther Gilbertson.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Christine; her son, Jeffrey Seefeld; and two sisters, Harriet and Gertrude.
