Bragg, Sherry Darlene (Marriage - 12 June 1965)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Fr. Blenker in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, uniting in marriage Miss Sherry Darlene Bragg, daughter of Mrs. Marcella Bragg of Rt. 1, Curtiss, and Verland J. Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider of Colby.

 

Oscar Erdman, uncle of the bride gave her in marriage.  The bride chose a floor length bridal gown of Chantilly lace, styled with a jewel-trimmed, round neckline.  The full skirt of lace and nylon was fashioned with nylon tulle ruffles in the back.

 

The attendants were Mrs. Carol Schneider of Colby, matron-of-honor; and Miss Florence Schneider of Colby, bridesmaid.  The groom’s attendants were Melvin Schneider of Colby, bestman; Larry Krueger of Merrill and Dan Fischer of Unity, Groomsmen; and George Schneider and Keith Bragg, ushers.

 

Harold Kenyon was ringbearer and Debra Glenzer, flower girl.

 

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Owen High School; her husband, a 1954 graduate of Colby High School is employed in a sports products factory in Spencer.

 

Guests attended the wedding from Colby, Curtiss, Edgar, Athens, Greenwood, Rib Lake, Sauk City, Spencer, Wausau, Stratford, Unity, Merrill, Ladysmith, Marshfield, and Milwaukee.
