Ure, Lloyd (Burn Victim - 1965)
Lloyd Ure of Rt. 1 Granton is recovering from injuries suffered when a gallon can containing about a quart of alcohol exploded last week Wednesday morning.
Both legs were burned when the alcohol flame shot from the floor up his overall pant legs.
Mr. Ure was singeing chickens over a pan of burning alcohol when the accident happened. The can was about two feet from the flame.
He was taken to a hospital in Marshfield, from which he is expected to be released the latter part of the week.
