Word comes from Oshkosh of the accidental death of Nelson Eyers in a stone crusher.  Mr. Eyers was a native of this town.  He leaves a wife and several small children. 

 

The prayer meeting service which was well attended during the past week will be continued this week.

 

Wm. Langrehr of Lynn, who has been the past year in Virginia, is at home.

 

The Woodmen and R.N.A. held their joint installation at the hall at Nasonville Saturday evening followed by an oyster supper.

 

Neal McPheab, an old resident, is confined to the bed at his home in the township.

 

That popular social center club, the Stitch and Chatter, held a social at the hall in Lindsey on New Year’s night.

 

Miss Nellie Broker of Marshfield visited among the Lindsey friends the first of the week.

 

The oil embargo is lifted as the tank man has come in this (Monday) morning.

 

There seems to have been some delay in the mail during the holiday rush, but things are getting straightened out again.
