Miss Vivian Ure spent Saturday and Sunday with friends at this place.

 

Miss Susie Sternitzky went to Marshfield Monday.

 

Max Opelt drove to Loyal Tuesday.

 

The heavy rains have washed out many bridges in the town.

 

School will begin next Monday, Oct. 9.  A teacher from Menominee will take Miss Schierholz place. The latter had to give up her school on account of an attack of typhoid fever.  She is now at the Marshfield hospital for treatments.

 

E. F. Brooks is putting up a new silo.

 

Mrs. Jim Sternitzky visited her daughter at Marshfield last week.

 

Ernest Montag is helping O. W. Becker in his factory.

 

Miss Hattie Viergutz entertained company from Neillsville Saturday and Sunday.
