LUEPKE-SCHMIDT RITES AT RACINE ON JULY 12

On Saturday, July 12, before the Rev. Voulker in the Trinity Lutheran parsonage in Racine, Miss Genevieve Schmidt and Elmer Luepke took their wedding vows.  Miss Schmidt is the daughter of Mrs. Blanche Schmidt, Loyal, and Mr. Luepke is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Luepke, Spencer.  The bride wore a sky blue redingote dress with white accessories and a corsage of white and pink roses.  She was attended by Lorna Sumako, Racine, as bridesmaid.  The groom was attended by his brother, Fred Luepke, Jr.  Mrs. Luepke grew to womanhood in Loyal, was graduated from the Loyal high school and the Wausau Academy of Beauty Culture, and has been employed in a beauty parlor in Racine.  Mr. Luepke attended the Spencer high school and at present is employed in Gary, Ind.  He expects to be called into military service soon.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Luepke are well known in Spencer and the Spencer Record joins their many friends in extending best wishes to Elmer and his bride.
