Mr. C.W. Ginther nearly had pneumonia last week, but is better now.

 

Otto Yankee and wife went to Granton Friday night to see his sister Mrs. H. Wegner, who is sick.

 

Mrs. E. Keuer visited her mother Mrs. E. Wiesner Friday afternoon.

 

A Reimer, O. Yankee and W.P. Boller met at A. Voight’s Saturday evening on business.

 

Ernest Keuer and Adolph Voight were Chili callers Saturday.

 

Grandma Riedel has been sick in bed for five weeks, ailing with stomach trouble and old age.  She is 84 years old.

 

Mrs. Caroline Lustig is visiting her brother Wm. Schlinsog and family.

 

Mrs. Ed Wiesner visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. Thiede Sunday.

 

Walter Krause came up from Granton Saturday evening and visited at home, and with some of the neighbors Sunday.

 

Misses Lydia and Elsie Nitschke called at A. Voight’s Sunday afternoon.

 

Fred Zille and family visited at Phillip Breseman’s Sunday evening.

 

Those who went to Granton from around here Monday were John Goebel, Fred Zille, Will Ginther and mother, Ed Wiesner and wife, W.P. Boller and wife, Paul Nitschke, H. Riedel and son Alfred.  It was quite a turn out.

 

Mr. E. Keuer and family, grandma Keuer, Bernice and Julia Hebert and Mrs. Mike Billie spent Sunday afternoon at Otto Yankee’s.

 

Carlton Boller called on Arnold Nitschke Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. S. Bass and family spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Miller.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Riedel and little son Elmer spent a pleasant Sunday evening at E. Keuer’s.

 

Mrs. C. Bass and son Leland called on Mrs. W.P. Boller on Tuesday.

 

Mr. C. Buchanan took cheese to Granton Tuesday.

 

Mr. A. Voight made a business trip to Granton on Tuesday.

 

Ed Wiesner and wife visited at C. Wiesner’s Sunday evening.  There’s nothing doing outside today, only snow and wind at play.

A Voigt had his cheese meeting Saturday evening.

 

Theodore Breseman is on the sick list this week.

 

Mr. H. Krause called at E. Nitschke’s Monday evening.

 

Mrs. Annie Lustig and children are sick with the grippe.

 

Mr. A. Reimer and A. Voigt went to Granton Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C. Wiesner called at Granton Tuesday.

 

Harry and Hilda Teatz called at H. Krause’s Tuesday.

 

Mrs. John Goebel, Mrs. W.P. Boller and Miss Lottie Krause visited with Mrs. A. Voigt Saturday evening.

 

Mrs. R. Gotter and little girl came over home Wednesday.

 

We had no school Monday and Tuesday as the teacher could not get here.

 

The mail came through Tuesday for the first time since last Wednesday.

 

Harry and Annie Teatz, Martin and Lottie Krause visited at E. Nitschke’s Sunday evening.

 

Mrs. F. Zille and Mrs. John Goebel visited Mrs. W.P. Boller Wednesday afternoon.
