Morrison, Patricia A. (30 JUL 1960)

Miss Patricia Ann Morrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison, Route 3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was married Saturday, July 30th, 1960 at 7:30 p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, to Richard Schlinsog, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schlinsog, Loyal.

The Rev. Orval Egbert officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.  French Chantilly lace fashioned her floor length gown featuring long tapered sleeves, pearl trimmed scoop neckline.

Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion fell from a lace crown trimmed with sequins and pearls.

She carried a cascade bouquet of pink rose buds and stephanotis with ivy.

Ballerina length gowns of pink organza over taffeta were worn by matron of honor, Mrs. Ardith McPherson, sister of the bride, and Miss Carol Liebzeit, friend of the bride, as bridesmaid.  They carried baskets of white daisies and pink sweetheart roses.

Ted Schlinsog attended his brother as best man.  Lee Cook, friend of the groom, as groomsman.

Larry Morrison, brother of the bride, and William Schlinsog, brother of the groom, were ushers.

Miss Linda Tieman sang "Because" and "The Lord’s Prayer," accompanied by Mrs. Leona Alberts.

Mrs. Morrison attended her daughter’s wedding in a lilac linen dress with white accessories.  Each wore a corsage of pink sweetheart roses with stephanotis.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside in Chicago, Ill., where the groom is a student at De Vry Technical institute.  The bride is a graduate of Milwaukee Beauty School, Eau Claire.

A Reception held in the church dining hall for 200 guests followed the ceremony.
