Adler, Mr. and Mrs. Herb (Golden - 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler celebrated their golden wedding July 1. A family dinner was held in St. Joseph’s church and in the afternoon, from 2 to 5 p.m., open house was held in the American Legion hall. Their children were hosts.

Those present were: Mrs. Helen Howard, and two daughters, Campbellsport; Mr. and Mrs. Cyrell Adler, Gurney, Ill., Mrs. Jane Schickert and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sharey, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Myron Spatz and children, Mosinee; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Adler, Round lake, Ill.; Mrs. Vivian Salentine, Sharon and Don of Muskego, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kenneburg and family, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler, Jr. and two boys of Marengo and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Adler and Teresa of Eau Claire, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Other guests were present from Appleton, Chili, Unity, Loyal, Spencer, Arpin, Neillsville, Clintonville, Marshfield and Lawler, Iowa.

In the evening a dance was held in the town hall for family and friends. Sunday a family dinner in the Adler home was enjoyed and Monday a family picnic was held at Rock Dam.

When their daughter, Mrs. Salentine, left for home, Mr. and Mrs. Adler accompanied her to Muskego and enroute they stopped to visit relatives and friends in Appleton and Shiocton and other points. While they were absent, Mrs. Bernice Mashin was in the store.

Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wendt and four boys of Clintonville were visitors in the Adler home.
