Bymers, Marie Ann (Apr 1961)

Immanual Lutheran Church in Marshfield was the setting of the wedding of Marie Ann Bymers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bymers and Duane Leon Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Anderson, Marshfield at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The officiating clergyman was Rev. S. M. Kruger.

As the bride was given away by her father she was wearing a gown of imported silk organza and imported lace over taffeta. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was caught to a crown headpiece and she carried a cascade of yellow roses with white glads and feathered carnations.

Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Raymond D. Lawrence of Route 2, Spencer and Janet Kohlbeck of Hewitt was the bridesmaid. They wore dresses of yellow and blue respectively, of nylon organza and lace over taffeta.

The groom chose Raymond Lawrence as best man and Larry Anderson of Marshfield as groomsman. Ushering for the wedding were Willard Anderson and Willie Ertl.

A reception and supper was held for the immediate family at the brode’s sister’s home on Route 2, Spencer.

Mrs. Anderson is employed at Shrake Drug Store in Marshfield and her husband is employed at the Weinbrenner Shoe Company there. The couple will make their home at 306-A North Cedar in Marshfield after a honeymoon at Lake Namakagon at Cable, Wisconsin.
