Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Buchholz, who were married on June 26, 1912 at Ontario, Wis., celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary Sunday afternoon and evening, June 24, 1962 at the house of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meinhardt, on route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

For the occasion Mrs. Buchholz wore a dress of blue lace over taffeta. Her corsage consisted of yellow and white carnations, with golden leaves and ribbon. A white carnation boutonniere was worn by Mr. Buchholz.

Present for the occasion was Mr. Buchholz's brother, Mrs. Philip Buchholz of Wilton, Wis., who was the only remaining attendant of 50 years ago. He was also given a white carnation boutonniere. The couple's two daughters each had corsages of pink carnations and gold leaves.

A beautiful poem was written and dedicated to the honored couple by their niece, Mrs. Gertrude Westpfahl of Tomah, Wis.

Lovely gifts, a purse of money, and many congratulatory messages were received by the honored couple.

The afternoon and evening were spent socially, and lunch was served to many guests attending from Racine, Columbus, Baraboo, Hillsboro, Kendall, Wis. Rapids, Marshfield, Ontario, Wilton, Norwalk, Tomah, La Crosse, Ladysmith and Whitewater, Wis., and Harvard, Ill., and the Greenwood and Loyal areas.
