Michun, Edward J. (Military Notes - 1967)
Edward J. Michun, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Michun of Rt. 1 Thorp, has
been promoted to army sergeant in Korea, where he is serving with the 7th
Infantry division.
A communications sergeant assigned to Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion in the
division’s 31st Infantry at Camp Casey, Sgt. Michun entered the army in January,
1966, and completed basic training at Ft. Hood, Tex., where he was stationed
before arriving in Korea in February, 1967.
Sgt. Michun is a 1963 graduate of Thorp High School.
