Phillip L. Wagner, a former resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at San Diego, Calif., Nov. 19, 1962, succumbing to an incurable cancer.

Funeral services were held form St. Vincent de Paul Church in San Diego. Pallbearers were shipmates from the USS Lofberg. Interment was in Fort Rosencrans National Cemetery at San Diego.

He and Judith Ann Thoms of Sacramento were married June 27, 1959. She survives, as do their daughters, Deborah Lee and Kristina Marie.

Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wagner, Dorchester; four brothers, Father Robert J. Wagner of Stratford; Michael Wagner and Raymond Wagner, both with the U.S. Navy; Richard Wagner of Milwaukee; five sisters, Mrs. James (Anne) Ozanick, Kenosha; Sister M. de Assisi, O.S.F, Milwaukee; Ruth of Chili; Dorothy and Carol at home; and other relatives.
