OBITUARY OF MRS. A. B. DAVEY


Mrs. Bertha Davey, nee Larson, was born May 21, 1873 at Drummond, Norway and at the age of 18 she immigrated to the United States, locating in Marshall, Minn.


On Feb. 27, 1896 she was united in marriage to Axor Davey and to this union were born five children.


In 1908 they moved to Clark County, where they lived on a farm until moving to Greenwood in 1927. Here they resided until July 1931, when they moved to Neillsville, where she passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 1931, at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 21 days.


The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, three sons, Carl at home, Allen of San Francisco, Cal., U.S. Navy, and John at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Earl Rohde of Greenwood and Mrs. Walter Needham of Stanley, besides four grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends.


She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Norwegian Lutheran Church, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. M. K. Aaberg will officiate.
