GREGORY ROGILLIO


Gregory Rogillio, 84, Greenwood, Clark County, died Friday, July 3, 1992, at Neillsville Medical Center, Neillsville. A memorial mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated.


Gregory Rogillio was born Feb. 6, 1908, in Besmer, Alabama, to Henry and Margaret P. (nee Poole) Rogillio. He graduated from high school in Houston, Texas. He worked for a pharmacy in a hospital at Houston, Texas and came to Greenwood in 1940. He married Geneva Kitzhaber Sept. 4, 1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. She survives. He then worked for Orlando Buker, a Coast to Coast Store, and also worked part-time for the post office, rural Greenwood radio TV repair, and for the Midland Coop in Loyal. He also worked for a year for the Farmer's Store in Greenwood before it closed. Since then he has been living in retirement.


Survivors include his wife two stepsons, Bernard Stiefvater, Orina, Calif. and Thomas Stiefvater, Pharr, Texas one stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Janet) Fiene, Sun Prairie one sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Buker, Neillsville seven step-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren.
