Pancyrz, Pete (1926 - 1999)

Pete Pancyrz, 73, formerly of Lublin, WI, died Monday, September 20, 1999 at King Veterans Home, Waupaca, WI.

Pete was born September 10, 1926 at Lublin, WI to Frank and Sophie (Iszka) Pancyrz. He was a Veteran of World War II Marine Corp., long time resident of Lublin and in 1996 he moved to the Veterans Home at King, WI.

Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Contera of Chicago, IL two sons: Dale of Shamburg, IL, Gary of Chicago, IL Grandchildren: Lisa, Heather, Melissa, Joe, Ryan, Gina, Steven Great Grandchildren: Bria, Shara, Jamie two sisters: Ann Cukla of Thorp, Agnes Siudak of Lublin and two brothers: Stanley of Florida and Edward of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Delores, 2 brothers: Frand and Joe and 3 sisters: Lucillie Rojek, Antonia Bochantyn and Frances Rosiejka.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 24, 1999 at Thorp Funeral Home with Rev. John Puerner officiating. burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Lublin. Graveside services will be conducted by the Lublin American Legion. Legionaires will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23 at Thorp Funeral Home.
