K.Aaberg of Greenwood also officiated at this service, assisted by the Rev. S.C. Benson, pastor of the Lutheran Church at Blanchardville and Rev. J. H. Myrwang of Prairie. Interment took place in York Lutheran Cemetery in Grant County.

He was hurried by ambulance to the Luther hospital at Eau Claire, where an operation was performed immediately. The following Sunday Mr. Ula took a turn suddenly for the worse and a second operation was performed.
