Last Rites Held for Mrs. A. G. Whitford

Large Number of Relatives and Friends Attend Services Held at Trinity Lutheran Church Last Thursday Afternoon.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. A. G. Whitford, aged 31 years, who died at Mount Viek sanitarium at Wausau November 2, were held last Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran church.  A short service at the Swarthout Funeral Home preceded the church services…  The Rev. A. C. Stapel, pastor, was in charge of the services and interment was made in the Spencer cemetery.

 

Pall bearers were Edwin Gumz, F. F. Gumz, A. E. Messer, R. L. Parette and Alfred Vanderhoof, of Spencer and Lee Hanson of Prentice.  Mrs. F. F. Gumz, Mrs. F. V. McIlhattan, Mrs. Richard Dittman of Spencer; Mrs. E. R. Telschow of Stratford and Miss Elsie Schultz of Loyal were in charge of the flowers.

 

Out of town relatives and friends here for the funeral were Mrs. Allen Johnston of Rapid City, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. George Raabe and daughter, Kathleen of Merrill; Mr. and Mrs. Werner Raabe and sons, Dick and Bob of Baraboo; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Raabe and son, Tom of Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Raabe of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. G. Whitford and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Munstock of Sturgeon Bay; Mrs. H. N. Blackburn of Wisconsin Rapids; Samuel E. Shewbridge of Chicago; Mrs. Wm. Rathoith and mother and Mrs. Frank Allar of Marshfield; Mrs. Cullen Ayer and Wm. Ayer of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Art Wisnosky of Riplinger; Mrs. Gus Deilenberg and Mrs. Harry Bayliss of Ashland and E. R. Telschow of Stratford.
