Lueck, Phena (14 March 1893 - 24 March 1966)

 

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville for Mrs. Phena Lueck, 73, of Neillsville, who died last Thursday at her home. Officiating was the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Lueck, the former Phena Ott, was born March 14, 1893, in the Town of Grant.  Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ott.  On August 3, 1915, she was married to Charles F. Lueck, who died in 1963. She spent her entire lifetime in this area. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Lueck were engaged in farming until their retirement, when they moved to Neillsville.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.

 

Mrs. Lueck is survived by the following children: Marvin Lueck of Rib Lake; Walter Lueck of Marshfield; Mrs. Carl (Ruby) Bradenburg of Milwaukee; Mrs. Howard (Elaine) Heup of Winona, Minn.; and Mrs. LaRay (Rosemarie) Norlin of Tomahawk.  Other survivors are a brother, Ernest Ott of rural Neillsville; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
