Gulczinski, Judith K. (Marriage - 6 August 1966)

The Rev. Aloysius Baumann performed a nuptial ceremony Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood, uniting in marriage Miss Judith K. Gulczinski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Florian Gulczinski of Greenwood, and Orville L. Loberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Loberg of Rt. 3, Neillsville.  Mr. Gulczinski presented his daughter in marriage.  White gladioli were arranged in bouquets to decorate the main altar.

Music was furnished by the young ladies’ choir of St. Mary’s Church.

The bride wore a floor length gown of pure silk organza, fashioned in the Empire silhouette.  Bell sleeves of Alencon lace and a sculptured neckline enhanced the bodice. A cut-away overskirt, edged in lace, swept to a chapel train.  Her bouffant veil of pure silk illusion was secured to a pillbox of organza, topped with a cluster of organza roses. Her flowers consisted of three phalaenopsis orchids with cascading trails of stephanotis.

Carrying bouquets made of three large white chrysanthemums surrounded by dracaena foliage, with ivy sprigs and wired satin leaves were the bridal aides: Miss Janice Gulczinski, as maid-of-honor; Miss Sharon Loberg and Miss Suzanne Gatz, as bridesmaids. They wore floor length sheaths of crepe in blue, highlighted by back panels.  Flattering ruffles framed the elbow-length sleeves of the Empire bodice. Braided nylon styled their pillbox headpieces, complemented with blush veils.

Alfred Bredlau of Neillsville was the bestman. Groomsmen were Michael Krultz of Neillsville and Frank Briski of Greenwood.  Ushers were Steve Gulczinski of Minneapolis, Minn., and Daniel Swoverland of Grafton.

The bride, a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School, is employed in the Greenwood School system. Mr. Loberg was graduated in 1961 from Neillsville High School and is engaged in farming.
