Kunshier, Deanna Kay (Marriage - 10 September 1966)

In a ceremony performed Saturday afternoon in the United Church in Neillsville, marriage vows were repeated uniting in marriage Miss Deanna Kay Kunshier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royale Kunshier of Rt. 3 Neillsville, and Robert Deane Boysen, whose parents are J. Peder Boysen of Winona, Minn., and Mrs. Charles Sequist of Burbank, Cal.

The Rev. W. C. Koehler officiated at a double ring ceremony at which Mr. Kunshier gave his daughter in marriage.

For Her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of white taffeta lace overlaid, fashioned with a low cut back and a bow at the back waistline. The Basque bodice was styled with long sleeves that featured scalloped edges. A floor length train was attached to the low-cut back. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a crystal crown headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses and white stephanotis entwined with green.

Her attendants were Mrs. Robert (Laura Lee) Zank, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Doris Kunshier, Mrs. Gayle Johnson and Miss Carmen Robles. The attendants wore pale blue floor length dresses, styled with short sleeves. White petal headpieces held their blush veils.

Robert Zank attended Mr. Boysen as bestman. Groomsmen were Ernest and Bruno Kunshier and Elmer Finck. Ushers were Paul and Mark Schmidt.

Marion Kunshier, as miniature bride, was attired in a gown identical to that of the bride. Loren Kunshier was the ringbearer.

Mrs. Kunshier (Boysen) is a 1961 graduate of Clay High School in Toledo, O., and is employed in dietary work and as a hospital aide. Mr. Boysen, a graduate of Neillsville High School, is a 1963 graduate of Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, Minn., Defense Information School in Indianapolis, Ind., and presently is a radio-television broadcaster for the armed forces network-Europe.

Mr. and Mrs. Boysen are making their temporary home at 105 Clay St., Neillsville. Mr. Boysen is leaving later this week for Europe, and Mrs. Boysen plans to join him later this fall in Germany.
