Miss Patricia Ann Prock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al J. Prock of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged nuptial vows with William A. Pawlak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pawlak, Thorp, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, before the Rev. Father H.L. Crubel on Saturday, June 10th, 1961 at 9:30 a.m.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a chapel train bridal gown of gleaming taffeta. A scalloped sweetheart neckline with a cut out filigree design, long traditional tapered sleeves accented the fitted Basque. Gathers at the waist highlighted the bouffant skirt which had a cut filigree design throughout the skirt leading to the chapel train.

Dueal tiered princes crown of lace, detailed with pearl arches and aurora borealis trimmed with pearl drops held her silk illusion fingertip veil, and she carried a cascade of pink roses and white stephanotis.

Attending the bride were Miss Karen Potocnik, Owen, maid of honor; Mrs. Michael Dupey, Chippewa Falls; Miss Linda Carlson, Owe; and Miss Jane Huth, Baraboo. They wore floor length gowns of white flocked nylon over baby blue taffeta styled with portrait necklines, puff sleeves, and pouf bustle back. Matching pear-tipped petal hats held their blush veils, and they carried colonial bouquets of blue and white carnations.

Thomas Pawlak, Chicago, attended his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Dupey, Robert Prock and Sylvester Harycki. Ushers were David Hoeper, Chicago, and Dale Groseth, Chippewa Falls.

A reception was held at Thorp Finance Dining Hall, Thorp, with a dinner at the Woodland Hotel in Owen. After a wedding trip through Wisconsin and Michigan, the couple will make their home on Lake Wissota, Chippewa Falls.
