Baehr, Norman (Master’s Degree - 1961)

Norman Baehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baehr, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), was awarded the degree of Master in Education at commencement exercises at Superior State College.

He was one of 41 students to receive this degree from Dr. Jim Dan Hill, president of the college.

Dr. Cleo Dawson, nationally known author, lecturer and psychologist, was commencement speaker.

Norman and his family now reside at Mosinee, Wis., where he is employed as supervising principal of the Mosinee Elementary School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the Wis. State College at Eau Claire in 1948, and was a graduate of the Owen High School in 1939. He is married to the former Esther Klay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Klay, route 1, Withee.

In addition to his work as elementary supervisor, Norman holds the rank of Captain in the Air Force Reserve and is an active member of the 9463rd Air Reserve Squadron in Wausau where he has served as flight instructor during the past four years.
