 Jake Henning purchased the Wm. Reed farm last week.

Mrs. Sherman Davis drove to Neillsville Thursday to have dental work done.  She returned Friday.

The Heathville School closed Friday for the holiday vacation.  There was a very nice program in the evening which was a credit to both teacher and pupils.

George Drake spent a few days last week with his son Walter and family.

Miss Annie Verkilen is visiting her parents here.

Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Knoll spent Sunday at Gordon Davis’.

Lem. Curtis helped Wm. Smith butcher Monday.

Delbert Latamore was a caller at Gordon Davis’ Friday.

Blum Bros. cheese box outfit had the misfortune to run into a deep ditch near W.R. Happe’s Friday afternoon.  It took them all the afternoon with the help of several teams to get back into the road again.

Gordon Davis made a business trip to Neillsville, Tuesday.
