The sad news reached us last week of the death of our neighbor, Mr. Miller. His foot was amputated a few days before his death. He was taken to Illinois for burial. Mrs. Miller and brother, Mr. Langrear, went to Illinois with the remains.

Louis Wiesner sawed wood for H.D. Riedel last Friday.

Miss Sadie Bass came home Sunday from Carl Krause’s. She expects to stay home for some time.

Miss Lydia Nitschke is home from Beilke’s since Saturday.

Carlton Boller and Alfred Riedel were called at G. Redman’s Sunday.

Mr. A. Voigt and family went to Yellow River Sunday.

Mr. W.P. Boller made a business trip to Abbotsford Saturday, returning home Sunday.

Mrs. Theo. Breseman visited Mrs. J. Schier Sunday.

Grandma Lustig is home again.

F. Hankey and family and Miss Hattie Scholtz of Lynn visited at E. Keuer’s Sunday.

Mrs. A. Voigt took Mr. and Mrs. A. Bentz and daughter Clara to Granton Monday, that Miss Clara might be taken to the Marshfield Hospital to undergo an operation for appendicitis.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Dekarske visited at P. Breseman’s Sunday.

Arthur Riedel began working with Leo Sternitzky’s carpenter crew last Monday.
