Bobb, Carolyn (27 OCT 1962)

Red and white mums decorated St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp, for the marriage of Miss Carolyn Bobb and Donald Gulczynski, on Saturday, Oct. 27, 1962. Father Edward Masalewicz performed the ten a.m. ceremony. St. Hedwig’s choir sang.

Parents of the couple are the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bobb and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gulczynski.

The bride, given in marriage by her Godfather, Donald Marshall, wore a white satin floor length gown with a bow bustle effect and a scoop neckline. A crown of pearl aurora borealis held her fingertip veil and she carried a bouquet of white orchids, red roses and ivy.

Miss Anita Bobb was her sister’s maid of honor, wearing a red satin sheath dress with overskirts. Bridesmaids were LuAnn Gulczynski and Darlene Mikolainis, sisters of the groom, wearing dresses identical to the maid of honor’s.

Peggy Nesvacil and James Gulczynski were flower girl and ring bearer respectively.

Larry Mitchell, the groom’s cousin, was best man, and groomsmen were Daniel Bob, the bride’s brother, and Donald Mikolainis, the groom’s brother-in-law. Ushers were Jerry Hadzima and Robert Gulczynski.

A reception was held in the American Legion Hall, Thorp.

The bride attended Thorp High School and has been employed in Milwaukee. The groom attended Thorp High School and is now with the U.S. Navy.

The newlyweds are going on their wedding trip to California, where they will make their home at Alameda.
