Felix Shafer is home, having resigned his job as Raleigh agent. He has another job in view.

Miss Dottie Phillips came home from North Dakota last Friday. She was accompanied home by Helen and Amy Brooks of Bismarck. They came to visit until fall with relatives.

The W.C.T.U. of Chili was invited out to Neillsville last Saturday. On account of bad weather, only six went. They had a most enjoyable time.

Mrs. Mae Tucker of Shawano came last Friday to visit Mrs. Nettie and Miss Nellie Hungerford.

Mr. Otto Rupno and family entertained Ferd Timmer and Carrie O’Brien, Will Yonkie and family, Otto Reimer and family, Mrs. Lena Shafer, and Mr. Epp last Sunday with music and a good time.

John Sweet was taken sick again and is confined to his bed.

Mrs. Henry Breseman of Chili still is very sick.

Mr. Crego, wife and Pearl, with Mrs. Lon Blakely and son, left by auto for Fond du Lac to attend the camp meeting and visit with relatives.

Mr. B. Hallock has been attending the Advent camp meeting at Fond du Lac this week.

Mr. Russell Greene left last Sunday for Woodstock, Ill. Her father was taken quite sick and she went for a visit home.

Mrs. Mable Walters and son came from Michigan last Friday to visit her sister, Mrs. Ethel Hogenson.

A young people’s society was started last Sunday evening in Chili. All are invited to come and join.

Mrs. Dow and Mable went to Marshfield Sunday to see Mrs. Una Miller, who son is laid up with a broken collar bone.

J. Davis and family visited at Fred Hill’s Sunday
