Badzinski, Jean (31 AUG 1963)

A double ring ceremony united Jean Badzinski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Badzinski, and Ted Stroinski, son of Mrs. Ann Stroinski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), at a ten o’clock Nuptial Mass performed by Rev. Edward Masalewicz on Aug. 31st at the St. Hedwig Chapel.

For her wedding the bride wore a chapel length sheath gown of Chantilly lace with a luxurious silk organza over taffeta train. A Sabrina neckline with shirred elbow length sleeves accented the fitted basque. The sheath skirt was highlighted by Chantilly lace with a split hem. The bouffant overskirt was fashioned with unpressed pleats starting on the sides and flowing gracefully into the chapel train. Her crown of cultured pearls and crystals and bouffant veiling was designed and created by the bride’s mother. She carried a crescent bouquet of white carnation clusters bordered with camellia foliage.

Mrs. Dorothy Stephens was her sister’s matron of honor and bridesmaids were Jeanette Schmid and Barbara Bogumill. Karen Badzinski attended as junior bridesmaid. They wore street length sheath dresses with matching overskirts made of sapphire blue peau de soie material. Crown headpieces accentuated with pearls and crystals matched their ensembles. They wore pearls and earrings, gifts of the bride, and carried novelty arrangements of camellia foliage balls on gold chains accented with pink sweetheart roses.

Raymond Stroinski was his brother’s best man and groomsmen were John Bujalski and Dennis Bogumill. Dennis Klick acted as junior groomsman and ring bearer. Ushers were James Stephens and Ervin Klick, brothers-in-law of the bride and groom.

The bride’s mother wore a cherry pink sheath dress with black accessories. The groom’s mother wore a blue dress and matching jacket with black accessories. Both wore corsages of pink roses.

The breakfast was served at the bride’s home and a five o’clock dinner and reception were held at St. Hedwig’s Quonset Ballroom with a dance following.

After a wedding trip throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, the new couple will reside at Schiller Park, Ill.
