----- Faucher, Marie Frances (27 JAN 1962)

Christ the King Catholic Church at Spencer was the scene of the wedding of Marie Frances Faucher, route 1, Spencer, and Richard Arthur Strey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Strey, route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). Rev. A.H. Bofenkamp officiated at the nuptial High Mass, Saturday, Jan. 27, 1962.

The bride chose a gown of lace and nylon tulle over faille taffeta, with a rounded scalloped neckline embroidered with sequins and pearls and a bouffant skirt. Her fingertip veil was secured to a crown of sequins and pearls. She carried an arrangement of red carnations.

Bridal attendants were Mrs. Harold Fleischman of Marshfield as matron of honor and Kathleen Faucher of Spencer as bridesmaid.

Harold Fleischman of Marshfield was best man and Thomas Strey, route 2, Loyal, was groomsman.

A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony and was held at the Spencer Café. The Newlyweds are engaged in farming on route 2, Loyal.

The bride attended Spencer High School and her husband, Loyal High School.
