Arnold, Helen J. (10 AUG 1923 - 21 NOV 2012)
Helen J. Arnold, age 89, of 631 19th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died 
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Wisconsin Rapids Care Center.
Funeral Services are 11:30 AM Tuesday, November 27 at St. Vincent de Paul 
Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. John Steiner will officiate. 
Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Tuesday from 
10:00-11:30 AM. Burial is in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Helen was born August 10, 1923 in Granton, WI to Joseph and Katheryn (Paun) 
Matonich. She married Paul L. Arnold on May 15, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He 
died March 13, 2011. Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, 
socializing with family and friends and traveling. Helen was a member of St. 
Vincent de Paul PCCW, Catholic Family and the CWC Heart Club.
Helen is survived by her son, Randall (June) Arnold of Darien, IL; three 
grandchildren, Scott Arnold of Darien, IL, Kevin Arnold of Darien, IL and Amy 
(Michael) Sawitoski of Charlotte, NC; two great-grandchildren, Emily Sawitoski 
and Corinne Sawitoski; and one sister, Mary Shimkus of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul; three brothers, 
Peter, Milan and John and four sisters, Rose, Louise, Ann and Katheryn.
The family would like to thank the Wisconsin Rapids Care Center for their 
wonderful care for the past two and a half years. The family also thanks all 
friends and family who visited her, especially her nieces Jeannine Saylor and 
LaVonne Hafenbredl, nephew David Arnold, and Marilyn Saeger.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic 
Church of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. 
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapid is handling all arrangements.
