Washburn Center (4 MAR 1915)

These days make one think of Indian summer.

Mrs. Pernod is gaining.

The Aid meets with Mrs. Tom Winters March 11th.

We understand that Mr. Pernod has rented the old Ed. Schroeder farm and will take possession April 1st. Mr. Hohenstein has not yet decided where they will go.

Paul Kuhn and wife spent Sunday at Ed. Short’s.

Gail and Opal Short are on the sick list with very bad colds.

Quite a few went out to lodge Saturday night.

Geo. Bue and wife were Sunday visitors at J.A. Short’s.

John Van Fleet and Ralph Short were at Marshfield between trains Monday.

Arthur Wilding was a business caller at Pray Friday.

Walter Bell and Arthur Short and their wives were callers at Mr. Pernod’s Friday.
