Peterson, Clara (5 AUG 1888 - 20 AUG 1963)

Miss Clara Peterson, 75, a resident of the Leahy Nursing Home, Abbotsford, died Aug. 20, 1963 at St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient for two days.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Congregational Church in Owen with the Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

Clara Peterson was born Aug. 5, 1888 at Lake Holly. She received her education in Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) and lived there most of her life. In her younger years she spent 10 years in Chicago. For the past 30 years she lived with her sister, Mrs. Agnes Nissen, route 2, Owen.

Surviving her, besides her sister, are a nephew, Clark Nissen, route 2, Owen, and a niece, Kathryn Peterson, Curtiss.

Two brothers preceded her in death.
