Davidson, Sherry (26 JAN 1963)

A gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta, the neckline trimmed with seed pearls, was worn by Sherry Davidson, Loyal, as she approached the altar of St. Anthony’s Catholic church Saturday to be come the bride of John Douglas Fulwiler, Loyal.

Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the 10 a.m. ceremony which married the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kuester, Hillsboro, and the son of Mrs. Edward Fulwiler, Loyal.  The church choir sang the Nuptial High Mass.

Completing the bride’s attire was a finger tip veil attached to a crown trimmed with seed pearls.  She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and white mums.

Sisters of the bride, Mrs. Robert O’Connor of Milwaukee, the matron of honor and Mary Davidson of Loyal, the bridesmaid, were seen in gowns of ming blue, featuring a velvet top and chiffon skirts. They held white feathered carnations in a cascade arrangement.

Best man was Raymond Dusso of Loyal and James Welsh of Loyal was the groomsman.  Michael Kuester a brother of the bride from Hillsboro and Danny Rossow of Loyal were ushers.

A dinner in the church hall followed the wedding ceremony and a reception was given from 2 until 5 o’clock that afternoon at Neuman’s Bar.

The newlyweds are both graduates of Loyal High School, the groom in 1957 and the bride in 1958.  The bride has been employed at Berg’s Equipment Corporation at Marshfield and the groom is employed at Rellis IGA in Loyal.  The couple are making their home in Loyal.

Out of town wedding guests came from Green Bay, Milwaukee, Rochester, Minnesota; Madison, Tomahawk, Stevens Point and Plainfield.
