Cox, Marie (27 Sept 1928-20 July 1961)

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m., July 24, for Mrs. Fred Cox, Jr. who died at her home about 9 p.m. Thursday. The body had lain in state at the Myre Funeral Home until the time of services which were held at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. V. A. Ganz officiating. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mike Weyhmiller, Otto Holnbach, Hugo Stutte, Joe Hubing, Erwin Dux & Keith McNeely. Mrs. Kenneth Hansen accompanied Mrs. Romaine Rossow at the organ while she sang “God Be With You Till We Meet Again.”

The former Marie Anderegg was born in the town of York September 27, 1928. She moved into the city of Loyal with her parents in 1942 and has lived here since and was a graduate of Loyal High School. She was married to Fred Cox, Jr. on December 11, 1946 at Marshfield. Her husband survives her. Mrs. Cox was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of its Women of the Church and she also was a member of the Loyal Woman’s Study Club.

Other survivors are three sons, Freddy, !0, Monte, 7, and Douglas, 5; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Anderegg, Loyal; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. William Evans, Arpin; and two sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Lucille( Brussow and Mrs. Ralph (Gladys) Rayhorn, both of Loyal.
